When we hold on to hurt, pain, resentment, and anger it harms us far more than it harms the offender. Forgiveness frees us to live in the present. And sometimes the person we need to forgive is ourselves.
1. Name what you will like to forgive.
2. Place a drop of Forgiveness on your palms, breathe in the smell of the essential oil, mentally say “I acknowledge the pain or guilt (if the person we need to forgive is ourselves)”, Breathe out with a “ha” sound and mentally say “I am forgiving and releasing this burden from my mind and heart”.
3. Sit in silence for 5 minutes, breathing in the smell of Forgiveness, let the smell permeates throughout your entire being. Feel into the center of your chest and release whatever is not serving you anymore, let it go.
