Chef Doddy has just shared this recipe for his Einkorn tortillas. . .
I love them wrapped around “everything”! We have had assorted raw or grilled veggies in different combinations, seafood, chicken, even chocolate and fruit desserts (healthy, of course!!!)
Your imagination is the only limitation . . .
Basic Einkorn Tortilla
- 2 cup Einkorn flour
- ½ cup rice flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup water
- salt to taste
Combine dry ingredients. Slowly add olive oil and water. Blend until smooth. Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Roll out and grill.
Note: You may choose to vary the amount of oil in the pan according to whether you desire a more crisp result or a softer one.
