I would definitely NOT use oregano anywhere on the face! I have used it on a stubborn mole on my neck, and it dropped off in less than a week.
NOTE: I put ANIMAL SCENTS OINTMENT around the mole, and then used a cotton swab to CAREFULLY apply the oregano. It was definitely still “hot”, and the area turned red . . . but the mole is GONE forever!!!
